The end of “The Walking Dead” is upon us and as we wait for the premiere of the show’s final episodes, anthology series “Tales of the Walking Dead” is here to quench our thirst for the undead. Onimusha: Warlords is out now on PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC. Nonetheless, at least now we get to see the original cutscene in all its weird glory. It makes sense, since the Japanese voices were redone for the remaster, while the English voices were left unchanged. If you select Japanese voices, the scene will be the original version. However, it all depends on the language you choose when you play the game: If you select the English voices, the cutscene will be the trimmed overseas version. So, with that out of the way, what does that have to do with the remaster? Well, YouTube channel Censored Gaming was able to a bit of research on their end, and discovered that the original Japanese version of the cutscene is in the game! The scene was briefly snipped in the overseas release to avoid the potential suggestive overtones during Hecuba’s transformation.

The full Japanese version can be seen below. None of the gameplay was changed, but rather a cutscene involving one of the bosses, Hecuba, was cut down from its original form.
